WELCOME TO MORELIA MORPHS

ABOUT ME

My name is Mark Sim and I am located in Adelaide, South Australia. I have been fascinated by reptiles for as long as I can remember. I spent a large part of my childhood catching and observing the ever plentiful reptiles of Southeast Asia - anything and everything from the Paradise Tree Snake to the mighty Cobra.

In 1996 I moved to Adelaide and was delighted to find that pythons were readily available through pet shops. I had read a lot about Australian pythons and was intrigued by the numerous python species available. Needless to say, it wasn’t long before I purchased my first python, a Spotted Python (Antaresia maculosa).

After leaving home, I quickly grew my collection which comprised mainly of the Morelia Spilota complex. My husbandry knowledge has come from books, other keepers but mostly through trial and error. I was captivated by the huge variety the complex offered. After breeding my first pythons in 2003, I have been a true Morelia addict and to this day, still cannot get enough of them.
